what yall thank about them?i know there not bad amps.but i mean power wise.alot of ppl claim there overrated.i doubt it with 2 x80 am fuses.seeing the 226 price tag on that thang changed my mind about getting us amps.internals of the hifonics actually looks beffier than the md2d

Well we all know how Bill feels about Hifonics... But he's well justified... The Maxxonics brands (including Hifonics) produce awesome amps for the power... and yes they are accurate on power output :)

Although I should warn you about one thing... If you're buying new at that price I guarantee that it's not from an authorized Hifonics dealer (no matter what they tell you), just so you know, cause when buying from an unauthorized dealer you won't get a warranty honored from Hifonics if something does go wrong... there are a few places that honor their own warranties but be careful ;)

Yeah I know... I could too, but most authorized dealers don't sell that cheap... you and I try to cut members here as big a breaks as we can :)

im just curious but why is it that, lets say the 1606 is $230 why would a kicker, mtx or jl audio at the same watts be 3 times as much in price? this is basically why i cant decide on an amp
