Most of your prefabs are going to be in the 18"Wx 14"Hx 9"-15"D(top-base) range and from what you're describing, that sounds like it would fit.
Also I mentioned 300wrms as a ballpark since most sony subs can't take to much more than that... for a more accuracy, tell us what model sub it is specifically and the same with your amp, so we can tell you exactly if and what else you can do.
okay ill get u that when i can ive been busy so ill get that to ya as soon as i can.
The sub is an 12 inch sony xplod xs-l120psw i have an 220w sony xplod mosfet amplifier its an 2/1 channel power amplifiler xm-222w.Ive got anoter amp bowered right now i tried to hook it up tonight. Its an torch series and its by digital audio its an 800 watt would that be too much to run that sony xlpod i have but anyways back to the other amp but i tried this with both of them and i know there is nothing wrong with either amp i only have an 30 amp fuse do i need a bigger fused / power wirer. i kept blowing fuses i only have a small power cable and when i take an volt meter it says i have 12 volts with out the ground wire on there and thats on both amps it wasnt doing this till i unhooked it and started blowing fuses i took the ground wire off wished i didnt now i can find ground i found power one time where if i took the volt meter i had nothing with no ground wire i went to hook it back up and it when back to having 12 volts without the ground wire.but anyways im going to go sorry it took me so long to get back

Okkkk... Is the fuse blowing when you hook the ground up?
When you removed the ground originally, did you open the circuit first (remove a battery cable)? Or did you just remove it with power still going to it?
Okay well now we're a lil more informed...
Your sub can handle 350w rms @ 4ohm (single 4ohm voice coil), your Sony amp only puts out 80w rms @ 4 ohm x 1, as for your Torch amp if memory serves me correct I believe it does 200w rms @ 4 ohm x 1 so it would be the best fitment for powering your sub.
it was i unhooked my postive wirer and it didnt blow any fuses. so everything is fine now.im bumpin again.lol

alright thanx il try that ive got to run into town and get an 40 amp for the torch amp and then im gonna hook it up when i get back so maybe it will be fine then but thanx i didnt wonna put too much power into the sub and blow it but if it only puts 200w rms then im doing good i have that sony amp bridged right now so its pushing more but anyways ive gotta go so ill let u know something when i get it on there thanx again
well got 40 amp for it and i got the amp hooked up and everything and like it has an green light and a red light.the red light has port written beside it and the green has pwr which is power.and it will go to green when u turn key over then when it trys to hit it goes to red then goes back to green after about 30 seconds maybe alittle longer but the sony amp works fine so wut could be going wrong there

Where have you got your gain set??
How are you running the amp?
Is it stable for the load you are putting on it??
Tim
i got another amp for it i havent tried to mess with that one anymore since it was messing up and all i had to go back and read to see what the last thing was that i had talked about.lol
