I won't see the Trailblazer again til Wendnsday. But I could try what you suggested. Using the OTC, I can tell the car it has a factory keyless, then program the data interface to send the same command to the BCM that the factory keyless would. And see what happens. (I miss the good old days when al...

I like people who think logically. The problem I am having with proving the BCM (Body Control Module) is bad is the fact that it is communicating with my scan tool and if I push the lock button on the door(not the keyless), I see a lock command being sent to the other doors. So the BCM is either ign...

Problem with a keyless any ideas???

Two years ago I put a keyless entry in an 02 Trailblazer. According to the customer it worked flawlessly until today. Heres is what I've done so far. 1. Replaced the data interface with a new one. still didn't work 2. Replaced the data interface again, still don't work. Obviously the approach above ...

JL seems to recommend smaller enclosures for these subs. I believe ported at 0.75 cuft net per sub tuned to 32hz Using BassBoxPro; if you have a 3-inch diameter port it will need to be 22.6 inches long at 32 HZ, a 4-inch port will only need to be 41.2-inches long. I would consider a much larger box...

I really think that you might what to look at a slightly larger enclosure, around 1.75 to 2.25 cubic ft. As the box gets larger the frequency at which it peaks will go lower. The amount of peak should also decrease. Also with a 3-inch port, make sure you are paying attention to vent velocity. The lo...

Tuning to 28 Hz in a 1.4 cubic foot box will make for one really long port. I dont think it will fit in the box. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y284/wrf01a/WINISD.jpg (this was generated for another forum, but I can use it here) If you look at the ported enclosure tuned at 40 hz you will see that ...

In most cases the entire rear package tray cover needs to be completely removed. Its really not that big a deal, just take your time and pay attention to what your doing.

There are very few cars that have a removable rear grill.
