im pretty sure rockford makes 70x4 coaxils. I've got RF power co-axils in my little 3-door hatch. Mid-base is allright, but tweeter is a bit 'lost' tho. I kept my previous 4" slpit system's tweeter on the dash with the cross-over and it sounds better now. They are installed in the front doors ...

Sub enclosure characteristics

I currently have a 12" sub in a sealed enclosure built to the factory specs. The box's internal volume is about 31L. Now it peaks at about 50-55Hz and it sounds good with most music, but when I play a bit of R&B and so on, the lower notes are very soft. Can one change this with a different ...

WoW!! No wonder our market gets flooded with all the crap. They can put up heavy margins on that and still be competitive price wise.A good normal setup will cost you round about $2500 here if you use stuff like RF, Alpine etc.. Not to mention JL Cerwin Vega and all those okes. This system doesn't i...

Is $300 bit steep for a 12w0? Thats the going rate for JL here in S.A. Thats why I looked at some of RF's stuff. A P2 RF will go for half of that. Not clued up on kicker tho. Will find out.

Thanks Kiki. I didn't see Rockford Fosgate inbetween the names. Any particular reason or just personal preference? Most of the other names are not readily available here in S.A. All we have here that is well known is: RF, JL, Kicker, Boston Acoustics, Infinity, Pioneer and Kenwood. Most of them are o...
