Indeed. I'm already being helped so that's really nice. I love the way internet provides assistance for free, sometimes with more quality than a real mechanic that is there to earn his money only.elmarianexx wrote:Hello! Re: Best cheap basic audio setup for an old car?
The deck is the actual radio, just another name for it. You could add more speakers to the back if you want, if you want to keep it low cost. Did you already replace the front speakers? I'm unsure if the previous owner have done it. They're not the best quality though. To install some in the back, ...

Radio connected itself and ran out of battery during the night.
The title might be a bit confusing but I'll explain. The other day, my step-brother looked through the windows at night and told me I left my radio on. I was worried as it usually disconnects when I disconnect the ignition of the car and remove the key, so I didn't know what he was on about or even ...

Problem with contact of a cheap radio.
So, I have a cheap but new radio in my AX. The problem is that whenever I click one key, it sometimes processes another. Like changing from FM to AM when I press radio station number 1, etc. I guess it's a bad contact, what do you think? Can it be the radio or is it possibly wrongly installed?

What's the deck exactly? I have a cheap but new radio, I don't have much knowledge about the piece names though.

Oh my god. Is that guy even serious? I mean, I'd understand if he uploads it as a joke, but I hope he didn't really think it was good enough and real looking.

Re: Hello from France.
Thank you for the warm welcome! This'll surely be useful for me as we're also considering on adding two speakers to the back of my mother's car, as they're missing for some reason. (bought it without them)

Re: door handles/lock mechanisms keep freezing!
I had this problem even on newer vehicles like my mother's Fiat Punto. It used to freeze and then it's a pain to open. I even went to a mechanic shop and asked for any good products but they told me nothing could possibly help if it's really cold and water ices up inside the system, from rain and no...

Best cheap basic audio setup for an old car?
So, I own a Citroen AX, from the year 1992, though, I plan on keeping the car so I'd like to make the sound better. One problem I'm facing is that I only have the two front doors speakers and no spot for more in the back doors. I plan on adapting the trunk cover to add some there, what do you think?...

Hello from France.
Hello everyone. My name's Ricardo, I'm Portuguese but currently living at France. I'm 18 years old and so I'm interested in car sound and all around cars. Currently I'm looking forward to do some audio changes in my old car, but I'll take a look around the forums to see my best options. See you arou...
