Standards are cake. Its the same as an auto car starter execept you have to hook up 2 extra wires (door pin and ebrake) and bypass the clutch. Takes maybe an extra 15 mins tops.

I worked on an 02 impala yesterday. There was a factory amplifier up under the rear deck in between the 6x9's. Yours might not have it but you might wanna take a peek just to be sure.

Has anyone played with or heard these subs? My friend asked my about them and i saw they used eclipses LMT technology which looks like an xbl^2 knockoff. The fs on them is 18hz so i assumed they would be a decent sq sub. Let me know what you guys think.

One of your stock speakers may have a funky impedance. Most aftermarket decks will shut off the internal amp to all the speakers if one is coming back with a bad impedance. Well i know the stuff i used was the asphault based and they redesigned it so maybe it got better. I'm not gonna spend the money to find out tho.
