New project #2 (wife's car) Looking for opinions

I haven't posted on here in years and just thought I'd see who might still be around and reading. To whomever is still around- hey there!! I used to post from around 2004 to 2012. My wife has a 2017 Infiniti qx30 (tiny crossover) with the Bose system. She listens to a lot of EDM and really enjoys ba...

Thanks for your input guys. Bill, good to see you're still on here! Brad from Arc audio tech support said the sound quality would be just fine running the amp at 8 ohms but there would be an increased chance of clipping. I suppose I'd just have to adjust the gains. What do you guys think of running ...

Hey Chris, thanks for the welcome back. Do you think the sound quality would be bad? I hadn't considered that. I actually got a response email from Arc saying I could wire that way for approx 500 watts. I wouldn't mind selling my amp but doubt I would get anywhere near what it's worth and would prob...

Old poster back with new question :)

Hey guys, I haven't been on this site in forever! Looks a little quiet now compared to when I used to post more. I am making some changes to my system and wondered if anyone was interested in offering some help/advice. I have been running a Oz Audio Matrix Elite 15 off my Arc Kar1000.2t that I got f...

Thanks for the input guys, I'll probably have to jump on these. $99 shipped for good components is a steal. Too bad my Rainbows had to get trashed in my car accident... $115 shipped for SLC 6.5's was a once in a lifetime buy... I loved those speakers :(

Good deal on CDT components?

I found this component set online while surfing eBay and wanted to get some opinions. Has anyone listened to these CDT components, they come with an 'upgraded' tweeter that appears to be 3/4 inch. I'd prefer a 1-inch tweet but I don't know if the difference would be that huge. If anyone has listened...

From everything I've read online Compustar doesn't make window modules, but that could be wrong. I think the install on this alarm was jacked up. It is a 07 but the car was preowned and came with the alarm installed. Last night I was able access the programming menu and tried to change some features...

^ Cool, thanks for finding that!

My car has rain-sensing window wipers so maybe I could integrate the existing sensor? I'd probably just buy the other one to avoid any issues. I'll have to check if it is a universal kit that can be used with my Compustar alarm...

The US economy is in a terrible situation due to 3 decades of failed foreign policy based on self-interest of politicians and not the good of the nation or world. Unfortunately the 'free market' in the US isn't free at all. Politicians from both political parties help regulate as they see fit to ben...
