I traced the RCA cable all the way up, and it ends in the middle of my front pax threshold, where it's soldered to 2 wires in the big harness down there. Regarding the HU, I do have multiple RCA's, 1 pair for the front, 1 pair for the rear, but only a single plug for the subwoofer.

Another follow up question. I finished installing the speakers and amp, and everything works/looks great, problem is, due to idiot (Circuit City) installation of my original sub (stupid), my sub RCA's no longer carry a signal. I'm pretty sure this is because they spliced my $50 RCA cable into some p...

I'm not saying that you can't find good deals out there, but I just like to warn everybody as a lot of the stuff says that it's got a warranty, but usually not... As for setting up your amp(s), using an O-scope is actually the best way, but a dmm is the most affordable (heck I don't even have an O-...

Well, this was an eBay find. $90 shipped, which seems like a great deal, and I figure if I get screwed, I learn a good lesson, and go buy another Eclipse. I've had my sub setup hooked up to an oscilloscope, and I never clipped it, even a good bit past what I normally have it at, so I think this one ...

Seems like a good all-around amp. I'm connecting it to DLS 425 speakers, which I think should produce a nice, clear sound.

4ch to 2ch?

I'm working on building a front stage in my Navigator. I ordered a Hifonics Titan 4 channel amplifier, and some DLS 425 speakers, but have yet to purchase rear speakers. Can I hook up the amp at 4x55watts, and only use the front channels without causing overload or damage?

Thanks

George

I just pulled the front panels off and measured the holes. The oval is 7.5" at the longest measurement, and 5" at the smallest. With the window down, it's 2.5" deep. The stock speakers are a little box with what looks like a 4" speaker and 1" tweeter in them. Has anyone done...

Navigator Speakers

Ok, I got hit while driving my Volvo a few days ago, and it was totaled. I had a fairly decent audio system in it, which I will be able to reclaim out of it before it's hauled off. Since it's replacement will already have a decent audio system, I was wondering if I could use the speakers in my Navig...
