Low End DLS Speakers

I am looking to replace my 6x9's in my truck. I have an Eclipse amp that puts out 80 watts RMS per channel. I am not looking to spend a fortune on new speakers. I know DLS makes some great speakers but I am not sure how their lower end speakers sound and hold up. The speakers that I am looking at ar...

Damn, somehow I missed the email or something that someone had responded to my post. I sent my JBL off to CIA Engineering (thanks Bwcad1) to get fixed before I read your response. I will send you the Boss if you are interested though?

Yep, that was what it was, a fuse problem. I put a slow burn fuse in, and it worked like a charm. Thanks for your inputs! :thumbsup

Problem installing Sirius tuner to Clarion head unit?

I have a Clarion dxz745mp head unit that is Sirius ready. I bought the SIR-CL2 tuner model, and installed it. My head unit won't even recognize that it is even there. Now I have a subscription, the equipment to listen to it, but it doesn't work. I pulled the deck out to see if all the wires, and the...

The amp does not seem to turn. I metered the resistance on the Kicker, and I got a reading of 3.5 ohms on both of the coils. I rechecked all my wiring to make sure that there was no problems, and installed the Xtant 121m to make do for a while until I can get the JBL fixed, or buy a new amp. The Xta...

It does not have any fuses onboard the actual amp. This is a bi-amp, so it has two 12 volt inputs. I have a inline fuse for each 12 volt supply wire, located about 12 inches from the battery. I did use Knuconceptz amp wiring kits as well, so it isn't cheap wiring and fuses.
