Hey guys little up date i built the box scarrel post the plans to and i threw in a MTX thunder 4000 wred at 8 ohms on my new directed 600D amp

and it pounds i cant wait to get the alpine back some time this week

what you guys think of this amp since i cant run the MA?

why would it mess it up? ive been running it like that for 3 weeks now and the sub is still doing good, it going to burn out the VC?

i have just 1 voice coil wired and i check the resistane on it and it read 2 ohms..............

dodge ram regular cab.....

and its the dual 2 ohm version



and i didnt know home depot will cut the wood for me... that cost alot extra?

i have the level turned up... and i dont want it to distort, i was told that if it distorted that it ment u were pushing to much wattage to it..........

MA Audio M1889I its 800 watt rms at 2 ohms but i dont think it runs at that because i have it set at 2 ohms and its cracked all the way up and the R isnt even distorting i'd like to do a ported box but i'd have no idea how to make it my max width i can work with is 16 inches, and i can only o like 1...

im running a type r with a MA audio 800 watt amp


i have it in a 1.282 ft3 sealed box and it POUNDS on low freq bass *like 90% of young jeezy cd* but thats it there is almost no base for higher freq

is it because of the box?
