Looks like there are 2 dealers in Montana, but they are under home audio not car audio.
I notice DLS offers some silk dome tweets as well .

So Glass, what would I expect to pay for Dynaudio 2 way, 240 GT or a 220 MKII set? Where would you suggest I purchase these? I do see a dealer in Montana but I would like to compare prices.

Well if any of you have recomendations with the comp sets you normally deal in I would like those as well. Ive read the Good bad ugly list. Im trying to narrow down the highly recommended ones. I could pay high but would like pay around $350 for the set. That way I dont have to save as long. love yo...

Silk or metallic

Ive read here that silk tweets have a smooth sound and that metallics are more pearcing. Im used to pearcing but the idea of smooth is intriguing. Any further education on this would be appreceated. Recomendations on silk comp systems would also be appreciated. Ive seen the diamond ones but I would ...

I also note that the stock speakers have a factory plug. Does one buy an adapter to fit these plugs for new speakers or just clip the wire...

I checked my 01 Dodge Dakota's doors and the actual hole in the metal of the door is 6".

Are the speakers I see advertised at 6.5" stating their mounting width or could they be stating a different dimesion on the speaker?

Eclipse 8445 question

Ok im using the deck in advanced mode. No matter how I set my PEQ in the lower frequencies it doenst seem to effect my Sub. The sub plays the same even if I turn the first 3 bands on the EQ to the bottom. I have the Xover set at 100 Hz with a 12 bd cut off. Is the PEQ only for the other speakers? Do...

I would be careful hooking up new speakers to that amp. The speakers are not the problem here. You dont wana ruin new ones with a defective amp. Try hooking up a different speaker to the amp. If it wants to distort, no matter what you hook up, its the amp, HU or wiring, not the speaker. If another s...
