Oh my friend does not carry a weapon either but they made it mandatory for him to go in for the weapons training class... I guess if they ever had to use one they would want them to know how...

ummm hmmm lets see... Saftey off... squeeze liberally on the trigger... bang? lol

by William from NOLA » Tue Jul 01, 2008 10:13 am

Hm. I dunno. Know a way of finding that out? lol

I applied and received my FFL after I was hired, but the background investigation is supposed to take 6 months or so which probably finished 2 months ago.

by Bwcad1 » Tue Jul 01, 2008 10:11 am

i know but you can get flagged for ffl whether you carry or not when they do the background check.

by William from NOLA » Tue Jul 01, 2008 10:10 am

No, not at all. My position doesn't carry weapons lol

by Bwcad1 » Tue Jul 01, 2008 9:35 am

did you get redflagged for the ffl?

by William from NOLA » Tue Jul 01, 2008 9:26 am

No. I don't carry any weapons anyway.

Wow you at least have outside access...
William, If you don't mind me asking, but did they make it mandatory to do that weapons training class for your job? My friend had to do some sort of defensive shooting drill with SMG's a Berreta 9mm and some sort or tazer thing...

They have TV though apprently where my buddy works...

Kid is 23 works in Interogation for the DOD and gets to travel all over the world on the governments $$, and never had to do time in the military... What a sweet deal...

Technically he did his time as an Army Brat cause he has lived all over the world because of his father... So I guess it helps that his dad is a Major-General.

by William from NOLA » Mon Jun 30, 2008 3:22 pm

I have outside access. I've found out that they've blocked ESPN lol

by CaptainPioneer » Mon Jun 30, 2008 4:39 am

Also you work for the Department of Homeland Security... I have a friend who is working for the DOD... he doesnt even have outside internet access on his computer...

by Ryan from Ohio » Fri Jun 27, 2008 9:33 am
