Well I took E bays remarks and turned t around on them.

There was a point when sellers accepting Pay Pal put a 2% premium on purchases to cover cost. E Bay put the kabosh on that... Said only thing you can do is offer a discount on paying by money order.

So what I did...

I put up a $50 handling charge thats FREE if you pay by money order... lol

I sold a PS3 on ebay a few weeks back. The guy signed recieved, and the ups tracking number proves that it was delivered to his residence. He then left me positive feedback saying how fast he got it. Then like 2 weeks later files a paypal complaint trying to get his money back. You'd think paypal wouldn't allow you to file a complaint if you already left positive feedback for the auction.

So, I sent the nice gentlemen an email stating that I had his address, and that he already left positive feedback and the tracking number shows he took delivery 2 weeks ago. I asked what the problem was, and sure enough he canceled the claim within 2 hours. I'm sure glad, because who knows what paypal would have done.

From now on, I'm only going to ship with signature confirmation required. I'll also insure the item for more than the auction. The thing that irks me is, the guy had like 102 feedback - it appears he closed his ebay account to try to scam me. If you can't trust a buyer with 102 feedback, I guess its time to stop selling on ebay...

well... to be honest... I dont mind using my CC so long as Verisign technology is used... It is a security measure... and from what i know this is not an Ebay or Paypal issue, this is due to a new federally mandated law on internet theft. Our company is instituting these changes as well

Ebay is just improving their services and quality all the time... aren't they?... NOT!

So I sold my plotter on E Bay or did I...

I think the guy who bought my plotter has one up on E Bay with a different name and bought mine to get it off the market...

SO anyhow I noticed when mine posted, the accept pay pal was checked... I didnt realize that while the auction was up and running.

Well this time around I made sure it was unchecked. It tells me this:

Payment methods for this listing must include PayPal or Credit Card.
WTF kind of shit is this. Now they FORCE the common person to take Pay Pal?
