The company probably has progressed since the time that piece o' crap was made. The internals are pathetic looking.

Can't wait to hear how the newer stuff is. It looks pretty decent. Not a lot of xmax tho...

I went to the website and apparently they are only about 30 miles from where i go to college.

Those amps are total shit, nothing liek their new stuff! Here is what the owner of Elevation Audio had to say about them! (His screen name changed by me)

DetroitBassTuner: so is old Elevation amps not as good as new ones?

elevation: we didnt design them they were built for us and we ended up sueing the company that did them for us!

So there ya have it. New Elevation Audio is good, old is garbage.

Well we hooked this amp up yesterday.

All I can say is a waste of money.

As you can see I was in direct contact with Elevation Audio. He told me I shouldnt judge their company on this older equipment as they have progressed and changed a lot.

So in conclusion, these older product suck, dont buy them.

Newer stuff appears to be good, with good reviews.

thanks for the email, as for the comp4140 amp! its bout 4 years old! its way
off the beat and pad from the products that we build today! it was a good
sounding amp, with good THD, but as for dynamic headroom or the ability to
run woofers! NO NO NO, it is not a big fan of strong resistance or flex in
resistance, I would not run that amp to a set of RE subs! and the amp is
75x4 at 13.4V, not 150x4, that is a max power rated at higher voltage! we
are not fans of seeing those sold on ebay! but nothing we can do about it!

Ok guys (kiki), Im having a hard time understanding why this amp is not capable of running subs, but would be fine for coaxials or other speakers? If the sub is 175 WRMS Total (87 WRMS per coil) and the amps output is 75WRMS x 4 @ 4 Ohms, and possibly a set of coaxials that are 100 WRMS and 4 Ohms. How is the amp better suited for one and not the other? Considering power requirements being the same, just one on a full pass and the other a low pass?

Give us some feeback then after you've had a chance to test it out.
What do you plan to do with the amp, is it just a "i bought it cuz it was cheap thing" or do you actually need it.
Cuz if it turns out to be a good amp and you wana sell it i'll buy it....

Price Paid $59, $76 with shipping.

No other specs found, no instruction booklet with item. Bought as "new" Appears to be new but old stock. Getting the actual product it appears to be fairly cheap... Here are some pics:

IMO for the money worth a try. Their comapny seems to be half decent, my first experience with their products.
