I have a JBL 1201.1 about1200@1 ohm my boy has the viper 1200 @1 ohm, switched with mine can't tell a difference, plenty of power. I don't think people really realize how much power 1200 watts is baced up by a good electrical system..

Based on that test how much is the amp putting out? I get 1600 but I do not know if my math is right thanks.

all amps vary.. lets say i have a Viper 1200.1 and i had it professionally benched tested, it could 1500rms at 1ohm at 14v... well, yours may do less or more.. you'd need to have it benched tested to really know the output.. but as far as im concerned.. its kind of pointless, because that amp wont always put that same number out at the same ohm load and voltage.. thats what i think anyway, but it gives you a good ballpark figure..

What is the actual output at 1 ohm? Anyone ever actually had it tested? Just wondering how much power I am actually giving my HD3.
