What are the box dimensions?
Have a link or photo?
Here's a link with to Massive's site on the PW10 http://massiveaudio.com/lowband/products/subwoofers/performance/pw-10.html and the box dimensions would be 12"H x 12"W x 10.5"D... so it's less than 1 square foot... approx. .75 after sub displacement.

Not to steer you away from a product, but I could do a Massive Audio PW10 in a sealed enclosure for $100 bucks or better shipped, and since these have a rms rating of only 200 watts it would give you a nice clean sound.

The JBL's Frequency Response is (±3dB) 45Hz - 23kHz
I assume the subs get me down in the 23Hz range and should filter out at around 50Hz?

I have had one... they are good for starters but they rattle and they kinda sound not so good.

self contained, amplified sub. works well, does great for low end fill.
no need to buy a sub box, etc.. its an all in one solution.
Wolf, I have 100 watts just sitting there waiting in the trunk (Alpine is mounted under the rear deck)...
Plus, I hear the nips don't allow much overhead in their charging system and would rather not chance overtaxing it.
Are the Bazooka tubes that bad?

Hmm ok here is a great site to figure out box size ... http://www.bcae1.com . actually its a great site for anything audio. Jease lets see here size in inches...

I think u can get a box about 14x12x10 and that will give you around what u would need for that sub... .7Cuft is a good size for that sub and will really sound great!

[quote="cargodz"]Well I wouldn't recommend the bazooka tube... Try sticking with a small 10" or 12" that will perform well in a small sealed enclosure...
Do you have an amp or one picked out yet?
And yeah It's Nice to have another older member on the board who remembers Good Ole' American Iron ]

Cargodz,
Always nice to meet another from those great years..... Nothing against the "kids" but their heads are elsewhere for the most part when it comes to music. I'm already half deaf so I just need FULL range without taking my breath away.
I'm hoping to drive the sub with 100 watts from the bridged rear channels of my Alpine MRP-F240.

Smoker....
Can ya say that in English? lol
I think I know what ya mean but I know beans about subs other than they take care of the bottom end.
Maybe a photo and or dimensions? Space is something I have very little of since I use my car to work out of now that gas prices have temporarily (I hope) retired my E-150.
