You might be able to snag a Kicker KX600.1 off ebay for that...I would suggest that as a bang for the buck amp. Post a WTB:AMP, in our f/s section.
I'm sure one here can hook you up.

thank you..
any more opinions?

one of my friends, who works at a car audio shop said P.A. was a good amp company..

just a quick reminder on electronics you get what you pay for. Now I like to shop around and get the best possible price but amp wise I would not go with power acoustic.

by Main-E-Ax » Mon May 07, 2007 6:46 pm

Most places have the amp at $80-$100

by iraqkillablue » Mon May 07, 2007 6:44 pm

How much is the amp. Because to be honest now days on the net you can get some really good amps for low prices. As far as the subs gotta wonder when they are 40 dollars and are rated that high.

Me and a friend were looking at amps and he came accross the "Power Acoustik "Plasma Sphere" 2-Channel Amplifier 620 Watts Max" and says it would make my system bump alot better than my p.o.s. pyramid. I plan on running 2 memphis PR 12's off of it.

heres the specs on the Acoustik amp:

·4 Ohm RMS 150 Watts x 2
·2 Ohm RMS 180 Watts x 2
·Mono RMS 360 Watts ·Bridged Max 620 Watts
·Dimensions (WxHxD) 11.25 x 2.25 x 11.
·Synchronized Lightning Pulse Dish
·Full Mosfet Power Supply ·PWM Circuitry
·Full Selectable Crossover Hi/Full/Low
·Remote Dash Mount Bass Knob Control
·Three Way Protection Circuit
·2 Ohm Stable Stereo
·Tri-Mode Capable
·Variable Low Pass 40Hz-250Hz
·Variable Hi Pass 40Hz-250Hz
·Variable 18 dB Bass Boost @ 40Hz
·Variable Subsonic Filter 60Hz- 200Hzt
·Frequency Response: 10Hz to 30KHz
·S/N Ratio: 98 dB
·THD: 0.02%
·System Distress Indicator
·4 Gauge Power/Ground Connection
·Diamond Cut Heat Sink
·Platinum Plated RCA Connectors
·Line Output
·High/Low Level Inputs with Floating Ground

specs on the sub:

2" Black anodized aluminum vented voice coil former
High-strength wide roll surround
Chrome plated vented basket
Tough rubber top gasket
RMS/Peak (W)- 250/450
Sensitivity (dB) - 88
Magnet Size (Oz) - 50
Mounting Depth (in) - 5.4

How well do you guys think that amp would work with these subs?

ALSO one last thing..He is running 2 Lanzar MAXP124D's.
they are rated at 800Wrms and 1600 max.
But are only $40 on some sites?
Is Lanzar that bad of Quality?
Someone let me know....
