this board's been f'ed lately.
had trouble even opening threads, then when I'd try to reply it'd hang for 10 minutes.. then show 5 duplicate replies.

this is the first time in a week I've been on and the board's operated normally.

I tried to remove those repeat posts, but the board just crashed at that point and I couldn't even get past the main page.. and after that, I had to leave for dialysis.

Like already metioned (by Glass 4 times)... Check and make sure your gain is set properly first... also may want to check and make sure that you don't have the amp set on Full or High pass filter... I've seen it come of that too.

damn a quad post!

wanted to get the point across did you? the most common culprit for this is the gains being too high.....check that first as its the easiest fix and the most common cause of it

by GlassWolf » Mon May 07, 2007 5:51 am

wouldn't be caused by signal and power being parallel.
check your head unit and amplifier ground points.
make sure the amplifier gains aren't turned up too high.
make sure the RCA interconnects from head unit to amplifier didn't get pinched, and thus damaged.
