There are a couple of guys on the board who can help you out with the box design if you have any questions. Just let us know.

i will but the install probably wont be the prettiest, this will be my first time building the enclosure have always used prefab in the past. i am going to be running it off of a hifonics 7506 for now untill i can through some more money into it and get more power. i still have to email fi and get some enclosure plans or designs

Nice. Put up some pics of the sub and install when you get it.

sorry i'm late on this. but the copper coil add's to the freguency responce of the driver, it helps bring the low end out a little bit. and the flatwind coil aids in much more power handling. You will be very happy with your sub choice :thumbsup

Flatwound probably gives more surface area for cooling. The copper coil definately gives cooling improvements over other metals. Not sure what the standard coil metal is.
So basically, more power handling.

ok the options on the ssd are a flatwind coil and a copper coil what is the purpose/difference they will make

oh yea. I would probably get the copper coil too. Just remember, box design is key. Make sure you go by Fi's reccommendations and make the box right.
