Amp Building Tutorials

Hey guys. Not sure which of you are into electronics, but I've been teaching myself electronics and I was interested in checking out a tutorial on amp building. I found one good one so far that explained each part of the amp and how it works (voltage divider, transistor, emitter degeneration, etc.). http://my.integritynet.com.au/purdic/rf_amp.htm
Mainly, I need to learn the basics and fundamental design. I have to wait until I get my income tax return to get a few books (because they're expensive :( ), so I've been reading up on people's webpage tutorials in place for now. Anything related to electronics basics would also be helpful. Anything teaching how basic circuits work.
Thanks! :happy055:
