Good SQ + Loud for me would be double midbass drivers (preferably 8" if they'd fit), a dedicated 5" midrange, and a good tweeter, preferably a large format tweeter with a good motor, it's not hard to find a tweeter that has good efficiency.

Or, you could go more extreme with a pro mid (the Audax PR170M0 is a good example) and horns. That Audax has a sensitivity of 100db/1W, but the LPF needs to be around 500hz. And you'd have to find midbass drivers that will keep up.

Anything that has bullet piezo style tweeters isn't going to give you good SQ...I looked at that Ho Problems Isuzu, and the mids looked exactly like Beyma's, and the tweeters were Bullet Piezo's...they are Loud as hell, but suck like ass. They won't win any SQ contests for sure. Radio Shack used to push some components from their car audio line that had Piezo tweets too...damn...

hmm, maybe.. not looking to spend a fortune.. but let me put it this way.. theres a truck named Ho Problems.. running twenty four RE SE 12"s powered by 12 I.A. 20.1's, Tommy(aka Ho Problems) is doing just about 160 on music.. he runs all Whip Audio mids/highs.. and people say you can hear the mids/highs over the music.. get my drift? i wont be NEAR that loud, but i want to be able to hear my highs.. im hoping to be doing 150+ on music this summer..
