my coworker crapped his pants when he saw how much two 12's could push (in and out wise)... my subs can move pretty dang good...
but in 3-4 months ill be looking for something better, maybe, if i can get the money...
im really thinking about some d6's i was pretty impressed with the d3's

maybe one of you could get me a price on one of those two components and i can pay for them... i have 170$ right now and im selling my old deck for 40$ tomorow so...
: ) let me know if you can get me a good deal... id really appreciate it...
what kind of small amp should i use?
i think these would be a cool buy...
http://www.fusioncaraudio.com/products. ... uct_id=311
because they would come with the tweeters built right in...
but i mean dang! i would also like a nice, cheap amp if that would be possible... i know jbl makes good amps but im not sure where to go as far as a small one is concerned...
i want to have so much shit done to my truck but its hard when i only work like 25 hours a week at McyDees...
i also want like some 18" (at least maybe 20") rims on my truck
i dont know if i could save up that much money though...
i dont guess i need an eq... because when i get new doorspeakers im just gonna have some good ole' bassblockers dropped in them...

^ Also a good choice from what I've heard of them... but haven't heard first hand... Hopefully soon since I'm about to become a Bravox Dealer :)

^ I agree... you will be Much happier with components :)

And I've never said Sony was always bad... Just the new stuff.
I tell everybody that they are riding their name from back when they used to be top of the line.

If you want some components that will blow you away for a decent price... look at the Fusion PowerPlant series... I honestly don't think that there are many that can compete for less than $150bucks :thumbsup

I used to have the Old ES Mobile's that sony used to make, I dont care who thinks that sony was always crap, cause back in the 90's they made some nice Car speakers... and these 5x7's were no exception.... Now they arent really that great

we were both using enclosures(sealed)... due to lack of room in the back of my / his truck...
we werent playing a bass song... but rather a semi spl / sq test at the same time... ill admit he out bumped me and his sq did sound better... i cant wait till i upgrade my doorspeakers to alpine type r's or better... if anyone can tell me whats better... all i have ever heard as far as door speakers go is sony...

Neither REALLY matter compared to how important the enclosure is. How the sub and ports are aimed makes a big difference as well. If what your concerned with is spl, you should talk to bilbo(bwcad1).
