I'd just pull the whole motor and have it gone through (if you're planning on having the kid pay for it).... While motor is out you can give it a good cleaning and paint everything before it goes back together... Is your car a stick? If so go ahead and replace the clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing... Oh, and you might as well put a good after market header on it instead of going back with a crappy stock one.... :happy055:

With a blown head gasket chances are a good sum of coolant got into your oil...

That coolant probably sat around your crank causing it to rust these little pits..

You may start your engine and it will sound fine, then 3 days later when you accelerating to get on the highway you start hearing a knocking sound, damn.....

You think back to this post and remember me telling you that your crank is probably pitted... You flip on your flashers, but not because you just beat that car that wasnt even trying to race you, its because you just spun a bearing... :bow :scorp:

These cars were somewhat know for cracking the exhaust manifolds, usually burning a few valves in the process...
If the head gasket is blown then you need to have the head checked out, it could be cracked or warped, not to mention it may have burnt vavles...
While you have it apart you shoud change the timming belt and the water pump...
With it having no oil and possible head damage your probably way better off lucking for another motor... :sad017:
Its a Talon but tha same as an eclipse

I hope it dose not come to me getting a new engine but I wont know until I start fixing things

If he won't pay talk to your shirt or his. I don't like going that route, but you got to do what you got to do.
