I have the battery lead to the orange wired of the car and the power lead to the yellow wire of the car. i also have 2 wires not hooked up at the moment cause im not exactly sure where they go cause it dosent tell me anywhere. But i had it working before without them hooked up when i had wires backwards. they are dark brown and grey. i believe these are the illumination wires. maybe this is the problem?
OK, do you have a multi-meter?
If so, check to make sure you have 12v on your power lead, and memory lead.
When you switched the 2 wires you had backwards, and you said it blew the fuse. Were you moving wires around, with it still connected to the battery? Just trying to figure out why it blew the fuse.
What type of head unit is this anyways?
