pioneer premier shallow mount sub as midbass?

I know several of you guys have used or installed these subs so i was looking for some first hand experience. They offer an 8" thats free air capable and not very power hungry and appears to have an extended frequency response ( 30-1500 ). Have any of you tried this sub in a midbass application ( 80-200) and/or how well do you think it would do?
