Can I use a 2 channel amp and wire each voice coil to its own channel on the amp??-Or should I stick with a mono amp??

kicker's new zx mono amps are optimized for 2 ohm. i just got their 1000.1 and 200.2, and as soon as i can finally hook it all up i can let you know how they sound.

Should I get a mono amp and wire the dual 4 ohm sub for 2 ohms to the amp?? It is a single sub in a small sealed box and the rms rating is 500 watts. I like Hifonics amps but open to any suggestions.
