oh ok bro, i did this on my Dodge with 2 different HU's from Pioneer... they are mostly interchangeble, mostly.... In my case they were different, when i upgraded to my other HU the clip that goes into the HU was different and me being not so smart and a cheapass at the time, had cut all the wires in going to the stock radio and rewired them figureing i would save money, well i saved money but umm i spent 1.5 hrs wiring and soldering wires in my truck then having to do it again when the harness was changed so if i were u just check and see, ill look in my files to see if i have the Wire diagram for those wires so u can doublecheck if not i think you can get them off of a Dodge Forum... By the way what model Car... 300?

Usually they will on a Pioneer.

To be safe I would pull both harness out and have a look. Mainly concerned about where the 12V's and ground are. If them pinouts are the same I would bet the rest are.

Hello Guys,

I'm a total noob with a quick question for you. To your knowledge, are the wiring harnesses for the lower end pioneer decks interchangable (I'm talking about the small plug that clips into the back of them near the 10v fuse). I'm upgrading the one in my chrysler and putting the old one in a ford, and it would save me a lot of time if I did not have to de-wire and re-wire for the chrysler, and instead just clip out the plug on the old one and plug it in to the new one. Your help is appreciated.

John
