ok i think i may do that if the weather calms down tommorow... atleast until i can get the funds to have a shop run the speaker wire through the cabin.

dont series wire them.....just parallel them...going series you will wind up with your tweeter crossover on the other speakers as well.........

If i wired my tweeters to the speaker wire going to my door speakers, would this cause any amp problems. the amp is an alpine mrp-240 4 channel amp.. im pretty sure i does 50 @ 4 ohms x4 and 70 @ 2 ohms x 4

the tweeters are 6 ohm and the door speakers ae 4.... so it'd end up being 2.4 ohms in a parallel and 10 in a series...i think...

the tweeters are rated for like 15w RMS.. so at 2.4 ohms i'd be worried about the tweets getting too much power and at 10 ohms the door speakers might get too little. :(
