I still have Pong and the Atari 2600 in their original boxes. Many of the Atari 2600 games are very lame by today's standards(heck, they were even kinda lame when they hit the shelves :) ) but some of them(Space Invaders for example) are still fun to play from time to time.

I still miss having a Sega genesis actually.
I liked playing Bubsy in Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind, SmashTV, Ren&Stimpy, Sonic, and a few others.. man those games were the shizzle.

man mine was sega :)

i mean i remember playing on nintendo and all that but the first system i actually got for a gift and bought games for was Sega Genesis. shows you how young I am.

fav game was prolly sonic the hedgehog or nba jam.

We had that Atari Chris Posted.

Actually it is my Dads and he still has it. Joysticks, paddles and all- games :)

Such a simple time.

I also had the newer version Atari that replaces that one (Cant think of name), NES, Super NES and Playstation.

Got a computer so I never bought the PS2 :)

I remember the 5200 was coming out, but at the time everyone had a 2600. So I wanted what everyone else had. So I asked for a 2600, god those games were horrible!!!!

How many games were there, that had one square shooting at a different colored square?

Trying to think back to what might have been the worse game that i owned on that system, I think ET might have been it???

I remember dad giving me the choice between the 2600, which was strictly a game console, or the 400, that had a keyboard and all that.
I wanted the game console of course, but in his infinite wisdom, he got me the 400, and probably regretted it ever since haha
