How'd it go?

Hopefully they can?? They said they could fix it, when ever I send and recieve, I'll let you know how it turned out.

the w7 though dosnt have your average cone/surround so it would have to be direct jl part. and they would have to be good very good to get parts straight from JL

by High Society » Fri Sep 30, 2005 9:43 am

Well they had a list of what brands they can fix, and JL was one of them. If it works the same with there parts, vrs the 350 dollar JL parts, I'll be happy :)

What kind of cone, surround, voice coil and spider are they putting on it.

I would make sure they are direct replacement JL parts...

I don't bother with email. I just pick up a phone and call places so I can actually talk to someone to get an idea of if they have any idea what they're doing.

http://www.circuitshop.com
I used this guy to recone my KEFs at home when they needed new surrounds on the four 8" woofers (8 surrounds.. inner and outer)
the re-surround job for all 4 speakers came to $35 per woofer, due to requiring two surrounds each instead of a surround and a dust cap
I e-mailed them and never got a response. I e-mailed neals shop about if there was labor cost, they said it's 60 total. So I'm gonna send it in to them. They are real fast at sending back emails. So I'm pretty set on them.
