I would advise a box with a divider. One setup is going to be different than the other and have a negative effect.

As long as the amp is running at the correct ohm load then yes you can do this. Might not have quite enough power though...

As far as answering the Op's question yes you could run your current equipment like that.

Yeah Joe the web site didn't mention it being 2 ohm stable, so I figured it wasn't.

That being said, he has 14 speakers. He wants loud. 150 watts isn't going to cut it.

Thats why I suggested a decent mono. 600 watts will give him 6 more dbs of output, and way more overhead than the 150 would.

The one thing that I disagree with is adding a mono amp. You have a 5 channel amp, run the entire system off that one amp. Most likely your mono channel will go to at least 2ohms, so I would look into a single 10 or 12" subwoofer that is running dual 4ohm voice coils. Then run the set of 2-way components off the front 4 channels. This will give you a total of 5 speakers, and with the professional tuning it, better sound than 14 speakers could ever produce.

Let me help you out a little, and teach you something "very" few people outside of the car audio world realize.

The more speakers you have, the harder it is to get good sound.

Gary biggs competed for years and dominated the SQ class. He almost always ran a 2 way comp set, and one or two subs. Thats 4 speakers in the front and one or two subs in the rear.

Just adding 2 more speakers, and going from a 2 way comp set to a 3 way comp set complicates the crap out of your install.

Sure most of the top SQ installers on this sight are running a 3 way comp set and one or two subs. So 7 or 8 speakers total. But we have HUNDREDS of hours in our install, phase adjustment, and tuning.

My advice for you....

Sell off all your speakers except the subs. Sell off one of your 5 channel amps.

Take the money and buy a mid grade 2 way comp set, and a mono amp for your subs.

Hook it all up, have a professional tune it, and you will be more than happy.

14 speakers is overkill but I don't even like surround sound at home I just use 2 jbl monitors and single 12

sorry abou all tha ? now i have like 14 speakers in my truck so it would easy for just too use both amps?

You're best off using one amp to power both subs without a divider. If there was a divider, it wouldn't matter.

ok ive got 2 1050 infinity reference sigle voice coil 4 ohm subs and I was wondering if I could run each one off of the sub channal on a infinity 5 channel amp?#2 do you think a sealed 1.92 cu ft sub box will work it doesnt have a divider in the middle??????????????????????
