Wow, we only got 3.5" of rain... but we got it in just a couple hours!!!

There was 3-4 minutes of the hardest rain I have ever seen.... I was driving and I pulled into a parking lot to send a text. All of a sudden I looked out my side window and I couldn't see anything, literally. I thought the car was going to flip over!!!

Well after 11" of rain over 7 hrs, we are getting a bit of flooding here in OKC too. My area has had nearly 5" of rain...

Do NOT wade around in the water in front your house in or near the street in the dark. If any sewer manhole or drainage port is near, you get sucked in and disappear.

I know a thing or two about flooding. :)

when i lived in aberdeen/hoquiam washington it flooded about every year they had no drainage on any of the streets and the wishkah would raise almost every year. it was fun the streets would turn into rivers.

it flooded in rosburg about every year too the greys river would get crazy we used to kayak in the front yard

I looked out the window and seen the neighbors trash can floating down the road! Grabbed my camera and ran outside. The water was knee deep in our front yard!

Uploading video now! Also got a few lightening video's!
