I've got some big plans for the Camaro, once I get the painting done on it.
I'm going to get some new face gauges made in the 91/92 style but with just white lettering. Then do something similar to what I just did with the 4Runner. Hyperwhite LEDs, with red lit up needles. Since I will be having the gauges made, I'll have some new icons made too that I'll light up with LEDs.

I'm also going to get clear side markers, and retro in a couple rows of LEDs in them too (if they'll fit)

Nice.

I kinda' want to pull the trigger on some LED signal lights.

Nice work.

Thanks!!

It's been something I always wanted to do, but wasn't sure how hard it would be. Then someone on the 4Runner forums did it, and didn't look to bad.

Actually taking the dash apart is no biggie once you do it once, I could have it all apart again in less then 5 minutes. Amazing how they put cars together.

Excellent work as always. I think it looks way better. My tundra has the orange. I do find it is easier on the eyes at night.

It's been awhile since I did any big LED projects, but I finally did one I've been wanting to do on the 4Runner.
I've always hated the orange and green instrument cluster LEDs that come from the factory. So I swapped out all the orange for white, and the green for blue.
I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, the white LEDs are much brighter and the blue go well with the white.
The LEDs used though are sooooo small. Had to use tweezers to keep them in place while I soldered them.
