I use a copy of Nero Vision.

It usually works good. Every now and then it will mess up- seems like certain movies.

Im going to look into the AVI2DVD thing.

Post a link!

avi2dvd works good its free
xilisoft made some alright apps but arent free
i used to use dvdfab pro to put multiple vcds on 1 dvd with menus and all that but i havent used it in a couple years
i think avi2dvd is the best bet right now
there are some converters out now that use nvidia cuda enabled gpus to do the encoding that are supposed to be really fast but i havent tried any

you also might not have the proper codecs installed on your computer

you can also find cheap dvd players that will play avi videos so you can just burn them onto a cd

Hey guys im having a problem trying to convert my AVI movies to dvd format... I have tried numerous programs and they dont recognize the file. I used the windows movie maker (in vista) before but i dont know how i did it. Whenever i add files to the windows movie maker its showing as "audio/music" and not video and i dont know why. Can any one please help me.
