Yeah, no kidding..

It's like were both in jail....

by NorthQuad » Tue Jul 14, 2009 2:06 pm

Yeah, too bad you have to do the time as well.

Give that retard a slap when he gets out and tell him he's cutting your grass for the next year.

by MobileAudio219 » Tue Jul 14, 2009 1:17 pm

Ryan would be correct here...

He stole it from lowes or home depot, I don't remember which...

Honestly he did get what he deserved (actually got off a little easy), I just feel bad because he's like one step away from being mentally retarded... That's why him and my sister get along so well, she's mostly physically disabled, he's mostly mentally disable... together they can do the job of 1 normal person....

He originally got off on probation, no jail time... He was on probation when he met my sister, then my sister got pregant and spent most of the time in the hospital. Towards the end they said there was a good chance neither one would make it through, he ended up missing a p.o meeting and never called (like I said, mentally retarded.) They issued a warrent, fast forward a few years and here we are...

It just sucks because now I'm stuck over at my sisters house 99% of the time taking up his slack...

Like the old saying saids, you do the crime, you do the time..

If I remember right the guy took a tub on a cart at Lowes or similar, put other stuff in it. Wheeled it out the doors around the side and back in the front to the return desk for a "refund" and got nailed.

:sad017:

It sucks for the kid involved but I think this will show your brother in law NOT to be a douche bag. Hopefully he will learn his lesson.

Don't be stealin' shit muthfkers.

Back in the day when my legs still worked, I busted a punk stealing my dirt bike. The cops were not called.

Your bro's lucky he wasn't caught by the wrong people.

Wolf... Remember the golden rule of the court system... Judges are supposed to be impartial... you would be a terrible judge... So would I though...

I never knew you worked in Const... I did too for a while, granted it was general and commercial occasionally... Tools being stolen sucks hard core... As it is when I am building little projects around my house, most recently my deck I get pissed when I can't find a tool... When I find out its been stolen... I go ape sh*t lol

by GlassWolf » Tue Jul 14, 2009 7:58 am

It sounds like he probably stole the tub from a construction site of someone's home, and as someone who had an asshole kid of one of the construction crew for my home, break into the grounds and steal a load of rather expensive tools, then call and admit to it on my answering machine, and yet still, have the [police refuse to pursue the case because the kid was "a neighbor of the cop" and me getting the excuse that they can't go to his home to retrieve my tools because it's "private property" (no shit, so was my f*cking HOME!) I believe the little sh*t deserved every day of his sentence, and his felony record.
Go buy a damned tub or use one at the Y if you're that smelly and desparate. Also, get an f'ing job, loser. Way to leave your family high and dry, there.

TL;DR: Would you feel the same way if it was YOUR tub he stole?

by CaptainPioneer » Tue Jul 14, 2009 5:56 am

Yes this is true however, usually in cases of theft, a lawyer should be petitioning the judge to base the sentence on the severity of the crime and the nature of the theft. In this case he most likely should have petitioned the judge for a review of his background and criminal history (that being said only if he has no criminal history)

by Bwcad1 » Tue Jul 14, 2009 4:54 am

Neg thats grand larceny in which the max sentence is 5 years and most states have a minimum of 1 year. He will also now be a felon (if he wasn't already)
