not off the top of my head but i actually held an ap3000 in my hands the other day, it is a thing of beauty and is definitely a dual mono block amp.

do you guys know the fuse rating on the AP-15001D amp form Audiopipe

by cargodz » Sat Sep 01, 2007 4:59 am

<0.2% THD on those is at 4ohm and not at 1ohm... the more you juice them up, the higher that number goes.

Solution... Which I'm amazed Bill or Terry hadn't already mentioned:
The New Crunch Powerzone PZI3000.1 ;)
PZI 3000.1D
D-Class Mono Amplifier
3000W 1-Channel 750W x 1-Ch @ 4-Ohms or
1500W x 1-Ch @ 2-Ohms or
3000W x 1-Ch @ 1-Ohm Dynamic Music Watts

Oh and I caught that crack on Interfire Terry... Very funny, Verrrry funny... But that's Ok since they don't have anything that will provide that much juice anyway.

This is straight from their website

Why does their website say that they are 3000 RMS @ 1 ohm if it does it at 2 ohm? And do you know if they are CEA Compliant?

by smoker » Fri Aug 31, 2007 5:21 pm

the ap3000 is a dual mono block so its 3k watt rating is bridged at 2 ohms.....i have talked to other dealers using them and they swear by them. i havent brought one of them in yet because thats an assload of power most people dont want to do the upgrades to run it. i can get you a pair of them for about 900 shipped if you want them

Are they good amps that put out rated power? I know that the GD-6001 is CEA compliant and will put out damn close to rated but what is there build quality? Also I was more so looking at the AP-30001 since it is a 3000 RMS amp but it does not state on there webpage if this model is CEA Compliant so I am worried about whether it puts out rated power. I have read opinions on termpro about the GD-6001 and they had nothing but good things to say but nobody has used the AP-30001, can you tell me if it is the same quality and if it is CEA rated, will it put out 3000 RMS? Also are there any better amps that I can get for around the same price and same power range? Looking to spend $1000 for 2 amps that will produce a true 2.5-3kw RMS @ 1 ohm.

Thanks for the help

I have not found them for $500 a piece so if you can find for that price or even a $100-200 more let me know.

well then you got some options. in all honesty i would try to find a pair of MM4000.1s on ebay there great amps and there dual mono's so almost any load works on them.
