Don't really know since we don't have a Myer Emco near here, but you can pick one up at any hardware store... And I'm always glad to be of help ;)

Multi-meter's cost like 10$ for a cheap one, they will get the job done, unless your going to do some major system that needs exact volts and ohm's you will be fine. Great lesson i learned after learning that the box can make a huge difference is that if the wiring is not correct it can cause a huge difference...

Like difference wire lengths can cause one sub to work more then the other and stuff...

But once you get ti down, you can do it within a couple minutes

haha alright man and by the way thanks for everything you were pretty much the reason why i fixed everything in the first place. if it wasnt for you i would have purchased another sub that wasnt the answer. i actually did buy it but im going to refuse the package when it comes tomorrow lol.

by the way does the store myer emco have this dmm by any chance? if i end up getting it ill post back on here for more help.

If you plan on learnin yourself a lil car audio... get one :thumbsup
Doesn't have to be a big, bad, expensive one as long as you get a "digital" multi-meter, you can pick one up at Harbor Freight Tools (if ya got one nearby) cheap and they work great :happy055:

[quote="cargodz"]If you are referring to the gains, then you could damage something if it's set to high. Use the "How to set gains w/ a DMM" in the faq threads to make sure it's dead on ]

the forum is set to private..

If you are referring to the gains, then you could damage something if it's set to high. Use the "How to set gains w/ a DMM" in the faq threads to make sure it's dead on ;)

And that's why I said I didn't want you to take offense... Not saying you were stupid, but some people learn better hands on... And like jonnyb said, you would expect someone that has never looked at a car to try and fix your brakes would you? We're about audio education here :thumbsup
