Syn wrote:Not really wanting to fine tune it I mean the deck is just fine, sounds good, and also has the ipod connection which I already bought for it. I was just wondering if not having the settings to adjust the subwoofer level would be a problem or anything. I take it that its not bad so i 'll just stick with this deck thanks guys.
I would just mess with the volume levels of everything and not EQ it until after your volumes are set. Some frequencies may need to be boosted or lowered a little, which is when you would EQ.

I have a Phoenix Gold EQ, the 215ix

Its a nice unit giving 15 bands of adjustment on both channels.

Im thinking its going into the Saturn SQ project :)

Every recording is different, so what sounds good on one, will not sound good on all others.

Ok question now guys , in my 06 tiburon it came with an aftermarket kenwood deck. Only thing is it don't have a lot of eq settings just the basic bass, treble, mid. Would it be my best bet to change the deck out?

I was thinking of going with the alpine ipod deck since I'm trying to get away from carrying so many cds with me. Is there favorites among decks as far as performance?

Thanks for any help.
