I Gotta agree with Bill on this one, with a side note: According to Bravox the EDX can and will sound good at lower power levels (around 1000wrms), but really who wants to take a sub that's capable of monstrous power and under power it.

oh well, then I'll beat it senseless then... either way it'll be fun to play with. Its 4 ohm dvc. the orions 2400 rms @ 2.. should work well together....

it wont sound all that good... its a hard core spl sub. its made to take insane power and burp. its not made to play music all that well.

stop bill.. .your getting me all excited... LOL... serious though, I knew they were good subs, but the more I've been reading and hearing about them. I'm really looking forward to trying one high end 12' on lots of power. I've always ran big subs, or more of the smaller. It'd be nice to do the same thing or close with one 12" that sounds good also.

it will take 6k no problem. that is one of the most bad ass woofers on the planet. only a few woofer companys rank higher. by the way C3 there are quite a few bravox dealers on here.

Let the testing begin....

up to 3000w rms is the rating on the Dual 2ohm VC EDX... I don't think I'd try 6000wrms unless it was on a ten second burp... The Dual 4ohm VC EDX I was told by Bravox is rated at 1000wrms, but will handle the 2000 with no problem.

by C3 Customs » Wed Jul 25, 2007 8:25 pm

I have heard that the EDX performs very well and can handle 6000Wrms (3000Wrms/coil), I will have one very soon and I will let you know how it performs for me. Btw I am authorized dealer of Bravox Audio also.
