Probably won't need the relay as I've done it on a couple vehicles... but it's good info if it doesn't work.

Thats fine... As long as it works... As it is I have to buy 4 fans for this project... Im buying 2 for the bar (Inheriting a power supply for that) run through 2 ducts up into the beer tower. Then 2 for the Amp into the desk where one will push the other will pull... When im done it should all work out fine ... Thanks for the help Bill

Yes and it would probably work fine just like that. however if for some reason the amp or the fan doesnt turn on you may need to install a bosh style relay behind the headunit.

Ok So let me just get this %100 percent clear... I am going to Hook the Red (Power) wire into the Remote line on the amp.... The Black into the Ground on the Amp... and that fan will turn on whenever the amp turns on in that configuration without a switch right?

by Bwcad1 » Wed Jun 27, 2007 5:00 am

you dont really need a switch if your gonna use a relay. and if you use it in your bar you need 12v dc not 110v ac.

Ok so ill use the remote wire for the RED and then the Black goes to the Ground... and i can wire up a relay to a switch right?
Also how bout if i wire this up in my house to my Bar... same deal or should i just get an extra power supply for this?...

by Bwcad1 » Wed Jun 27, 2007 4:29 am

just use the remote wire and wire a relay behind your Head unit. also not sure if you looked into this but they sell a thermostat that goes on your amps and will turn the fans on. if you want i think i have one ill sell you.

Ok it seems pretty simple but... I want to run some Case fans from a computer to cool down my amp which i have recently relocated to inside a very small closed in area of my truck... (Desk console) How do I wire this up?

I was thinking i just run the Power (Red) to the 12V connection on the Amp then the Ground/Negative (Black) to the Ground. Now i think i should run the power to the remote line because if it is on the power the whole time it would stay on unless i install a switch right???

Please help with this because i also want to throw one into my Bar set up so that i can move cold air into my bar top as well...
