The JBL set is more exacting and has a cleaner sound to it, but they're on the bright side. The midbass driver is built like a tank and has a very good motor on it, it can take a lot of power and is very dynamic.
The Pioneer set is very nice as well, is a little warmer sounding as well as more natural sounding. Midbass output is very good, it's more of a deeper, fuller bass than tight and punchy (doesn't have as much of a rolloff in the ~80hz region)
Alpine set probably has the better crossover adaptability and the nicest tweeter IF implented correctly, but the set as a whole isn't as dynamic as the above two and the midbass driver leaves something to be desired.
I'd probably say the Pioneers are the best overall setup for most types of music and those of differing recording quality.
