Yes, You see most HU have an aux option to let you know? Well when you connect the cable it just suddenly plays your MP3.. and when disconnected it plays your CD.. Kind of weird but it doesn't matter to me.

Yeah I've actually steered people away from this model because it doesn't list an input and I've never had one in my hand to look it over... so it's actually good to know.

im guessing :confused on the websites, it only says it has an output.. but im just glad it works :)

by cargodz » Sun May 20, 2007 2:34 pm

So its pretty much impossible to connect my mp3 player without an FM transmitter?

I kinda figured, but I had never used the OEM interface from PAC...
I know that PAC makes differed interfaces for some of the Alpines, Kenwoods, Pioneers, & Sonys, but nothing for the Panasonic.

cant happen, those oem interfaces only work if you have a factory head unit that will control other factory options that you dont have like satellite radio or cd changer, then it takes that option and makes it what you plug into the adaptor

Yeah I know, but they have problems with some MP3s, so I just make sure to warn people that they aren't actually set up for MP3 playback.

As for the Panasonic unit itself and an adapter... I don't know of one, unless there is some way to make a PAC OEM adapter work on it, but I don't know... Hey Terry, ever try that interface with any aftermarket H/Us?
