Not quite the same for me this year. Grandma's in and out of the hospital, and my mom is blind with a brain tumor. Guess I need to enjoy mother's day while I can! Oh crap, I forgot to call my other grandma......

I bet my mom has tried e mailing me a few times.

Ever since she said FU to me, shes been on block. Were not on good terms anymore.

However if you are on good terms with your mom. Let her know you care today. Even if its some cheesy card or $5 plant. Something, anything to let her know!

I just feel bad because a couple years ago see went blind due to a whole slew of health problems, so she doesnt ever leave the house so I know she really looks forward to having vistors....

My mom was always on the run until see lost her eye sight, she was going back to college and had alot to look forward too, now she just sits at home all day and listens to the radio or tv...

You must realize though that your Mom brought you into this world to grow up and carry on with your own life though... You still keep in touch though and that's something to be proud of...
My Mom (Yes she's still alive... and so is my Grandmother :surprised ) has lived in California for a long time now and I only get to see her about every 2-3 years (but we talk on the phone 2-5 times a month)... And Now she's moving to Rockford, Illinois which is only about a 4hr. drive, so I'll be able to see her more often :)

yeah, we're all having a little dinner at her house tonight.

I kind of feel bad, I use to go check up on her EVERY day, but lately I'm doing go to see her once a week... :sad017:

Just thought I'd throw up a lil note to all to make sure that you tell your Mom how special she is on her special day :happy055:

And ya know... no matter how much she has done good or bad... she did one thing right and brought you into this world :thumbsup
