I work in an aerosal factory running the capper, which is the machine that puts the caps on the can... It can be pretty boring, but then it can really keep you awake if your machine is missing up and blowing up (bang, covered in product.)

I usually clock in at 5:45pm and clock out at 6:45am... which turns my 12 shift until 13 hours. On the days that I work I usually average about 6 hours a sleep, not too horrible.

You'll be tired as hell, but I'm sure you'll love them nice big checks and the toys you can get with em :)

Supervisor asked me today if I was willing to work over time, usually I work 3 days on week, 4 the next, 12 hour days. He said one of the the shift needs help really bad and that I can work 7 days a week for the next month or so... so that means really, really, really nice pay checks.... :happy055:

Which means I can take one weeks pay and buy the most of the system for the dakota.

Looks to be in really good shape if everything is still the same as you stated earlier :)

Now for the big question... What system's goin in it? :)

okey dokey, nice ride man, Definitely going to be a great ride for you... And I can definitely confirm a bunch of the things that guys are saying about the Dodge Trucks... The Dodge Rot definitely happens behind the front tires around the fender area, but it can be avoided if you take good care of your truck. The O2 sensor has gone on mine before, as well as Fuel Pump, and fuel rail. Now i don't know if it is the same on a Dak but when they have to take the pump out and replace it, they have to drop the gas tank. Other than that the truck is fine. I do think that my tie rods are on there way out but I'll have to find that out another time. It will be a good truck to do stuff in.

BTW... Ive never had any electrical problems whatsoever on my truck.

very nice, beware of dodge rot though. Rust behind the front tires and fender area are a common thing on older aged trucks.

theres a couple pictures... they're from when it was still my cousins but nothing has really changed.... I'm going to work on it all this weekend, detail the crap out of it.... it cleans up pretty good... my old boss (car dealership) is real good friends with the owner of a body shop so he can hook me up with some paint for a real good price... I really just want to paint the whole truck a different color but for now im just going to stick with painting the hood, grill and roof the gay green...

I know the trucks needs a little tlc, but he just put brand new tires on it (over 400 dollars worth (less than 200 miles ago). and I'm getting the truck for wayyyyyyyyyy less than blue book, like 1/3 of the blue book... and its going to cost me less than 100 bucks to paint the primer pieces, then it will be mint. :happy055:

I havent heard of any of the electrial. I know that the ball joints, tie rods and wheel bearings are a major problem for them. The exhaust manifold bolts are bad for breaking off. The o2 sensor are also a fairly common problem...

The blazers are known for their intake gaskets, valve guides/seals, push button 4wd, fuel pumps, fuel injection (cpi) and horrible gas milage....

I come to realize they all have their imperfections, and I like the looks of the dakota so I'm willing to accept their mechanical flaws.... Though I still think dodge has some of the worst automatic trannys out there, and would never buy anything with an auto from them...
