I'll pass then, I'm glad I asked, cuz I really wouldn't have wanted to waste my time.

by ChevyMuscle » Fri Apr 13, 2007 8:12 pm

they have name brand shit like kicker, clarion, rf, and a bunch more but its priced the same as you would find at bestbuy or circuit city. you only get ''deals'' on the crap...plus there are some really smelly people there. and someone tried to pickpocket me once...that was my first and last time going.

by cargodz » Thu Apr 12, 2007 11:42 pm

But you're sure to find deals on names like Pyle, Pyramid, and maybe even Legacy :p j/k lol

Thanks for the info, thats the reason I asked. Never been to one and wanted to make sure that the hour or so drive would be worth it. I guess I'll pass on this. And like Keef said, spend a day on ebay lol.

by Darthness » Thu Apr 12, 2007 6:27 pm

you'll be better of spending your day on ebay.

I went to one years ago, and it's all junk. Usually boxes of no name stuff piled up everywhere.

If you do see name brand stuff, it usually really old, and really low line stuff.

just not worth going too

Been to a few.

They wanted $6 to get into the last one and $5 to park the car... F that...

They usually have a bunch of junk. Never really worth the time.

Actually i went to one in my state once... and to be honest its not great at all... But sometimes you can pick up some nice HU's for a fraction of the price, the only thing is that they are almost always used or refurbed... A friend of mine purchase a Pioneer Z1 from a flea market and it still works great, and he only payed like 400 for it.

Yeah they usually have "ONE" at that price and it's gone in less than 5 minutes... plus many of these units are factory refabs with no warranty and no way of contacting the dealer... I've been to a couple of them and it always ends in a laugh...
Not worth the cover fee at the door... unless you actually want to buy a cheap Rolex knock off watch that might work for six months :p

its just like going to the flea market.....lots of crap
But they said 1000 watt subwoofers for only $29 dollars :)
