yea i bet those things would make great weights to lift... I think they are 300lbs a piece or something so i guess i would only need 2 of them lol

by htownplaya456 » Wed Mar 07, 2007 6:03 pm

i agree with you completely but that thing sounded awesome... and that thing was sponsored by mtx anyways... so you get the point

by CaptainPioneer » Wed Mar 07, 2007 5:49 pm

the only problem is that the MTX Escalade could have gotten the same desired result with a better box design and different woofers... The Jackhammers are overpriced and impractical. For 7 Grand i could get myself a nice lil used sports car and just drive it around on a nice day. Much more satisfying than luggin around an extra 300 lbs in my car.

well before this last weekend i didnt think much of the jackhammers but... i went to the heat wave in south padre this last weekend and they had the mtx escalade truck up there with 2 jackhammers and 4 8500 12's. i was sitting in it for a bout a minute and could not stand anymore... and i like ALOT of bass but anyways it was rediculous. i have pics of it on the computer if anybody wants pics email [email protected]

thats funny, most of them like chrome so i would have figured that it was probably like Audiobahn lol

the rappers usually dont pick their own equipment someone at the world reknowned shop usually drops a bunch of w7s in a suburban for them and that type of deal. They all want JL becuase they take it as a status symbol

by CaptainPioneer » Sun Mar 04, 2007 3:29 pm

well u know there is prolly some rapper out there with one of them lol

The Jackhammer would make a great exibit at shows to lure people to the products... but to actually try to sell something of that size and at that price is a little rediculus :p

by scotts1000rr » Sun Mar 04, 2007 9:15 am

yea the worlds largest paperweight

by CaptainPioneer » Sun Mar 04, 2007 8:19 am

thats cool, still i liked that awt-34 just because of its size, and at the time (I was running audiobahn) used to brag about how they had the biggest subwoofer out there... Yea its definitely a marketing technique to get kids to ooh and ahhh, it doesnt mean they are stupid though, i mean im not stupid and i oohed and ahhed at it... Its just not every day u see something that big...

A really cool idea for the Jackhammer would be to make it into a exhibit or a piece of furniture in a really modern looking house
