uhh the mileage itself is better then gasoline emitted cars but the price of refilling your tank is the winner! 2$ of electricity for a 4 hour overnight refuel

thats interesting

by brisgreat1 » Mon Mar 05, 2007 12:30 am

well its another start in the right direction, and with gas prices these days i could be driving around in one of those mini mini coops!

by Darthness » Sun Mar 04, 2007 8:34 pm

they could, it'd sjust be extremely expensive.

thats cool even if it only ends up in atvs and snowmobiles. THats still some saved gas! that is more of a viable near future goal. it will be a long time till they can match the ability and luxury of our current cars.

I mean great you pay nothing for gas, but you also get no real power either, want to add more... too bad. And now on to the electronics for some of these, that's a nightmare in itself... and what of our beloved aftermarket stereos... Oh that's right, even on a hybrid you loose mpg when you start making upgrades because you're puting more strain on the motor that would normally feed the car's main operating system.
Don't get me wrong... I think they have some good ideas out there, but they are along way from perfecting any of them and I don't foresee any leaps and bounds in the near future when everybody is going in so many different directions with ideas.
Sometimes you gotta suffer to do what's right. ;)
Anyhow, car audio enthusiasts will find a way to run equipment in one of these cars when one becomes a viable mass production model.
