Yea...jamaica ave is sketchy. I didnt like it either. My roomate had his car stolen from right out in front of his house.

I go to school in Morrisville. Its in between Utica and Syracuse, central ny.

Oh ok...i take the Whitestone bridge all the time to go to school. My old roomate lived off of Francis Lewis Blvd.

Maybe pick up a local phone book and look for places who sell/install car stereo closer to you than patchogue. Go check them out and see if they have any pics of installs they have done.

chad, the owner of Ascendant said that his brother runs an atlas with 150 watts and is very pleased with it. the adjustable Qts feature will allow you to get some extra output also. i have mine in a 1.5ft^3 sealed enclosure. i installed a potentiometer to the second voice coil and installed it in my console. the low Qts setting is great for SQ and the high Qts setting adds that extra bump/SPL at the bottom end rolloff point like a ported enclosure does. pretty sweet.

I know of some shops near patchogue and stuff. $h!t, now your testing my knowledge...LOL. Umm, i think Main Street Stereo, on the Sunrise and there's a decent shop at the end of RT. 112 in patchogue, i think called Avenue Sound. Those are really the only 2 shops i know of, i do most of my shopping online. Its cheaper.

Where in Queens, i dont know the city that well, but had an old room mate that lived in Queens.
