if you don't have onboard video you should just pick up a cheap video card.. i'm not sure how well windows is going to do with 16mb.

and i surely hope you don't plan to do any 3d rendering with that kind of graphics card :>

ryan lol i have the processor and mobo. i have an old 16mb video car i may just use for a while. and i got the ram already.

Hey Bill, if your just using it for what I think- testing purposes, you dont need a whole lot.

I would just use on board video and grab a cheap board and an older processor, 512 ram.

Now i want to let you all know this is for data use only. mainly for wolfpack info and im working for a few audio company's doing field tests and similar.

what i have so far.

AMD athlon 3000 64bit.
ABIT AV8-Via MOBO (dual core ready) but its socket 939
1 gb crucial ram DDR-400 4000mhz.
and the rest of the usual crap.
