Optima's aren't bad... especially if you need a good battery NOW (cause you can get them anywhere), but the Deka is better.
And the Orbitals aren't bad either... I had one in the Buick, that I pulled outta my old truck... the orbital finally died after 12 years of good use in 3 different vehicles :)

the deka's rock my socks. 2 tenths louder than any optima. and they are usually a bit cheaper. check out any of the oddesy lines and any of the kinetic's. here is a little bit of info. about 75% of the batteries we use are made by the same company with diff labels. optima = interstate
oddessy stinger tsunami scoshe nsb eagle pitcher and damn near every other battery is made by enersys.

by Bwcad1 » Sat Jan 27, 2007 1:29 pm

yea there not bad batteires im just saying you can get far better for the price. and interstate makes your optimas ;)

*shrug* My yellow worked good. My truck always had starting problems and I never had to charge it. My previous standard Interstate battery died constantly.

-4 for optima. there just a name now there are far better batteries for less money.

x3 here, but it wouldn't have fit in my new car anyways.

x2. I did the same thing and I was pissed when I realized it.
